Welcome To Withington Golf Club

Founded in 1892 and situated in the Mersey Valley, just 5 miles from Manchester, Withington is a beautiful, mature, parkland course.

We pride ourselves on course excellence and endeavour at all times to live up to our well deserved reputation as the course with lush fairways and true, responsive greens.

The course offers a real test of golf and can be enjoyed by players of all abilities, from the professional to the relative beginner. We actively encourage visitors to play from the tees that best suit their ability.

MEMBERSHIP

Applications for membership are welcome. New members can choose , should they wish, to pay their subscriptions in monthly instalments. The current monthly rates for new members are as follows:

Ages 25 - 27: £42 per month
Ages 28 - 34: £58 per month
Ages 35 and over: £79 per month

SOCIETIES

We have an excellent range of competitively priced society packages from “golf only“ to a full day with breakfast, 18 holes and a 2 course meal. Again speak to James on 0161 445 9544 to discuss your requirements

All society bookings of 12 or more qualify for the award of a free “Master of the Stretch“ voucher worth £120 for the player in your group who puts in the best performance over our notoriously challenging last 3 holes.

PLAY MORE GOLF

For golfers who don’t want to commit to full time membership we have a partnership with Play More Golf where you can join Withington as a PMG member and still enjoy many of the benefits of membership but at a significantly reduced price of £420 . Please see the section 'Our Club / Play More Golf'.
